She received her Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg in 2016. While in business school, she started working in the accounting industry part time. Crystal has been working at Fredrick James since 2006. In 2015 she started full time as Chief Operating Officer. Crystal’s passion for accounting is rooted in her joy of serving others; using her financial knowledge to positively impact the world through her God given talents and abilities.

In October 2017 she was admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent. She recently completed her NTPI Fellow designation.

E. Lucia Malinowski-Wright, EA, MBA, PA

SECRETARY

Lucia Wright is the Founder, Managing Partner and CFO of EL Malinowski Consulting Co. located in Seven Springs, Florida. Founded in New England after receiving her MBA from Babson College in Accounting, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Wright has been assisting start-ups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs as a beacon of knowledge so they may expand their horizons. The company will be celebrating their 40th year in 2024! Lucia began her career in accounting and taxation after receiving her dual BS in Accounting and Finance, with cum laude honors, from Rowan University in New Jersey in 1986. After 5 years of Corporate Accounting, Lucia chose to attend Babson’s Night MBA, while still working, and completed the program with three concentrations in 3 short years, with Cum Laude honors. At the behest of her fellow classmates who utilized her marketing prowess to compete in the Blank Prize (a seed money competition which has grown to a Founder’s Day tradition at Babson), Lucia started her consulting firm immediately after graduation specializing in marketing analysis and back-office operations for start-up companies. The firm relocated to Florida in 2012, and now specializes in accounting and tax preparation for Real Estate, Construction and other industries in Florida and S-Corps and Small Business nationally. Lucia teaches clients how to use QuickBooks, then retains them as Virtual CFO clients or tax clients. She is a champion of bringing the businessperson to full function, rather than leaving bookkeeping and financials a mystery; “Teach a Man to Fish” theory of growth. She is a QuickBooks Silver Pro-Advisor and a member of NAEA. Ms. Wright started preparing taxes as a VISTA volunteer in 1986 and has been a PTIN preparer since 1999. She became a licensed Enrolled Agent in February 2023. Lucia was a champion PHRF and One-Design sailor in the Massachusetts and Boothbay, Maine circuits. Since moving to Florida she has defeated breast cancer and is a strong advocate for Enrolled Agents being recognized as viable tax professionals and licensed, credentialed accountants in their own right. If there is spare time she enjoys kayaking, the zoo, creating art, and sewing. She is learning to like motorboats, as there are too few sailboats.
